With more than half a decade of experience in the jewelry and auction industry, Alexandra is your trusted expert for appraisal and jewelry consulting services. She holds the prestigious Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and is a member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (NAJA). Alexandra founded and oversees the operations of California Jewelry Appraisers, an independent jewelry appraisal and consulting firm in Southern California.

Alexandra holds a double Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University in Art History and Journalism. She loves the seamless integration of science, art, and history that a career in gemology offers. Prior to founding California Jewelry Appraisals, she was a Consignment Director with Heritage Auctions and Jewelry Specialist at Abell Auction Co. Alexandra graduated the Comprehensive Appraisal Studies Program through the Appraisers Association of America in New York. In keeping with industry standards, she has completed the 15-hour Personal Property Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) through the International Society of Appraisers. In an effort to provide the best services, Alexandra participates in continuing education, in addition to attending trade shows and lectures.
